  • Welcome to the 2022 Korean War Gold Star & POW/MIA Families Survey!

Your voluntary participation in this survey will help create a database of historical information helping America understand what became of the Gold Star Families whose loved ones were lost, or have yet to be accounted for, in the Korean War.

Your participation will also help develop a database to facilitate contacting Korean War Gold Star and POW/MIA Families when events and opportunities arise. All responses to this survey are voluntary.

The data received will be stored on a secure server for your protection. (click for our privacy statement).

In 2021, Sons and Daughters In Touch consulted dozens of Gold Star and POW/MIA Families from the Vietnam War to ensure its Census Survey asked appropriate questions and provides responses representing the many unique life experiences accompanying those losses. Ultimately, hundreds responded to that survey with unique answers and insights into the life experiences of those who lost their fathers in the Vietnam War.

The success of that historic survey resulted in Sons and Daughters In Touch being asked to tailor this survey exclusively for the Gold Star and POW/MIA Families from the Korean War.

Completing the Survey may take 20-25 minutes. Should you need to take a break or be interrupted, simply save your answers and return to complete it when time permits. While some answers are not required, kindly respond to as many questions as possible. Please submit your final answers within 14 days of receiving the Survey invitation.

Thank you for completing this survey and helping as we begin to tell the stories of America’s Gold Star and POW/MIA Families from the Korean War.
