Tribute

I honor my father David J Moreno today and every day. Awarded purple heart and bronze star, he destroyed an enemy bunker along with 2 NVA soldiers within, after warning his battalion of ambush. His actions greatly aided in the escape of his platoon and removal of the wounded. He lay down his own life for his comrades and country and this makes him a true hero.

NEVER FORGET.

You are my hero, you are one of our Nation’s heroes. I share your Medal of Honor and your story with all who will listen. It is my duty to make sure you and ALL my brother’s and sister’s Dad’s are never, ever forgotten. May you all rest in peace, until we meet again.
