Membership Information

SDIT is dedicated to honoring the fallen and missing as a result of the Vietnam War, and to locating, uniting, and providing support for their loved ones.

If you are the close relative of an American lost or missing as a result of the Vietnam War, you may be eligible to join our organization and help continue honoring the legacy of our fathers.  

There are two categories of Members:

  1. Voting Membership (General and Honorary Lifetime)
    Any natural person who has attained the age of eighteen years and is the close relative, to include the son, daughter, parent, step-parent, grandparent, grandchild, sibling or spouse of an American lost or missing as a result of the Vietnam War. Such membership shall be subject to payment of dues, fixed from time to time by the Board of Directors. Such membership shall be eligible to vote on any and all matters of the Corporation that may be submitted to membership vote.
  2. Non-voting Membership (Associate)
    Any natural person who has attained the age of eighteen years and demonstrates a particular interest, sympathy or expertise in the purposes of the Corporation is eligible for such associate membership. Such membership shall be subject to payment of dues fixed from time to time by the Board of Directors, but is not eligible to vote on any matters of the Corporation that may be submitted to membership vote.
