Parade Magazine, May 1990

Published over Memorial Day 1990, this Parade Magazine story catapulted forward the ‘Sons and Daughters In Touch’ movement. Before this, there was no nationwide organization working to “locate, unite and support the Gold Star Children from the Vietnam War, or any of America’s other wars.

In the years that followed, non-profits would be established to do more incredible work supporting the Gold Star Children from World War ll and other more recent conflicts and wars.
